Equipping the next Generation

Group of school children wearing blue and white uniforms, standing in a classroom or hall, holding books and backpacks, some with facial masks hanging from their necks.

The Youth Education Centre activities and services will be overseen by the ASIWAJU group on a separate site (Oke Bode property).

The focus of the centre will be on the experienced lecturers and tutors assisting the youths to fulfil their potential in education, assistance in passing their JAMB exams and progressing on to tertiary education.

The Youth Education Centre aims to help students become greater than what they can achieve on their own. They will receive support and exposure to education systems, and the teaching excellence they need to be able to get to the next level in their career.

With the hope that with the care and investment that has been extended to them, they will in turn reach back and support their community.

Titus 1:5-9

Two young men in suits and ties engage in a conversation outdoors in front of a building with open windows. One man gestures with his hands, while the other appears to be listening attentively. The scene is set outdoors with greenery visible in the background.

From distant soil her story grew,

With strength and courage in all she knew.

A woman so respected, with steady flame,

With fire behind her eyes the same.

Fearless in ways both seen and known,

A presence felt, a strength well shown.

So warm, so caring, full of cheer,

With laughter we will always hear.

She was the centre, strong and true,

In all we were, in all we grew,

A presence strong, composed, and seen,

The heart of all we've ever been.

Five children rose beneath her care,

Each shaped by all she chose to share,

And from them came a legacy wide,

Of grandchildren held in love and pride.

And even more, as years went on,

Great-grandchildren, her love lived on.

A living tree, so rich, so deep,

With roots in her we'll always keep.

She was the glue that held us tight,

And told her stories with delight,

Of places seen and paths she knew.

And brought those distant worlds to you.

A woman strong, yet soft in grace,

With a love for the Lord that shaped her days,

In every prayer, in all we do,

There lives a part of her in you.

Though now she rests, her crown is earned.

A queen in grace, in honour high,

We do not lose what love has made,

For in our hearts, she will not fade.

So we stand tall, because she stood,

We love more deeply, as she would,

And carry forward all she gave,

Beyond the silence of the grave.
